These Marquis Silked strings are part of the upgraded Authentic Acoustic range and have an extra-light .010 to .047 gauge-range to support a slightly lowered tension in standard E-tuning. If you're used to the feel of an electric guitar or tote an acoustic model that can't handle the tension of a regular set of .012 gauged strings, then these will feel perfect beneath your fingers. Besides the sparkling tone and definition of the 80/20 Bronze winding, the ball-ends have been bound in silk to reduce saddle and bridge wear and improve resonant transfer from the strings to the body of your instrument. The result is more fresh and more lush acoustic sound, while the corrosion resistant materials lengthen the lifespan.
